ABOUT THE ROLE
As an L1 Support Technician at Inputiv, you'll be the first point of contact for helpdesk tickets raised by our MSP clients' end users. You'll work directly within the client's ticketing system, under their brand, handling day-to-day IT issues with professionalism and speed. Most of your interactions will be remote β chat, email, and remote desktop β supporting users across US and Australian time zones.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle L1 helpdesk tickets β password resets, account unlocks, MFA setup, software installs, and printe
β
Troubleshoot basic connectivity problems β VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, and remote desktop access
β
Support Microsoft 365 users β email setup, Teams issues, SharePoint access, OneDrive sync problems
β
Log, categorise, and update tickets accurately in ConnectWise, Autotask, or the client's PSA
β
Escalate unresolved tickets to L2 with proper documentation and handover notes
β
Communicate clearly with end users β written English must be professional and clear
β
Maintain SLA targets β acknowledge within 15 minutes, resolve within agreed timeframes

Follow Inputiv's security protocols and maintain confidentiality of client data at all times

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an L2 Support Technician, you'll handle escalations from L1, manage more complex infrastructure issues, and deliver project work under the guidance of our L3 engineers. You'll work closely with MSP account owners β often being the named engineer on a client account β and will own issues through to resolution. This is a senior individual contributor role with a direct path to L3 and eventually project engineering.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Accept and own escalations from L1 β investigate root cause, not just symptoms

Administer Microsoft 365 tenants β Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID

Manage Windows Server environments β AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file shares, print servers

Diagnose and resolve network issues β VPN tunnels, firewall rules, VLAN misconfigurations, DNS failures
β
Support Azure environments β virtual machines, Azure AD Connect sync issues, basic IaaS troubleshooting

Manage Intune device policies β configuration profiles, compliance policies, app deployments

Assist with project delivery β migrations, rollouts, and upgrades under L3 supervision

Document solutions clearly β runbooks, post-incident reports, and handover notes

Mentor L1 technicians β review escalations, provide feedback, knowledge-share
