Business Problem

The legal firm's primary concern was mobile device and BYOD security. Employees were accessing case management systems and sensitive client data from personal devices with no MDM controls β€” creating significant compliance and data breach risk. Corporate devices were also unmanaged, with no policy enforcement or app deployment capability.

Our Solution

We deployed Intune for all corporate and BYOD devices β€” enrolling Windows, iOS, and Android devices. Conditional Access policies were configured to block non-compliant devices from accessing M365, and App Protection Policies were applied to prevent corporate data leakage on personal phones.

Licensing & Inventory

Verified M365 Business Premium licensing for all users (Intune is included). Inventoried all devices β€” 180 Windows laptops, 120 iOS/Android personal devices.

Intune Tenant Configuration

Configured Intune tenant settings β€” MDM authority, Apple APNs certificate, Android Enterprise enrollment, and device compliance policies for all platforms.

Corporate Device Enrolment

Enrolled all 180 Windows devices via Autopilot and manual Intune enrolment. Configuration profiles pushed β€” BitLocker, screensaver lock, and approved app list.

BYOD App Protection Policies

Deployed App Protection Policies for Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive on personal iOS and Android devices β€” preventing copy/paste of corporate data to personal apps.

Conditional Access Enforcement

Configured Conditional Access requiring compliant device status for all M365 access. Non-compliant devices automatically blocked until they complete enrollment.
